Ülase12 is a non-formal and non-profit social center, which is ran by volunteers. We support ideas of grassroot-level self-organizing, mutual aid, solidarity, sustainable development, animal-friendly lifestyles, anti-authoritarianism, autonomy and other initiatives that aim to create a more just and free society.

We oppose any form of social discrimination and views that generate discrimination, hatred or division are not welcome. For example the social center is no place for racism, sexism, homophobia, xenophobia, party politics and organized religion.

The social center offers free space for organizing events that are in accordance with our principles. Ülase12 is hosting following events and projects:
- movie screenings
- vegan dinners
- workshops
- lectures and discussions
- self-defense trainings
- a library and a freeshop
- meetings for different groups
etc.

Everybody's ideas and participation are welcome!

As the social center operates on a rental space, we have monthly expenses, which include utility fees, maintenance expenses (repairs, etc) and unforeseen unscheduled expenses.

With regard to that, every donation which helps us keep the place active and open, is very welcome. The social center is situated in Tallinn, Kristiine district at Ülase street 12, which is about 10 minutes away from the city center.
